Hemp loves everybody! Here's why.

Superfood for a super family! It’s never too late to make that switch to healthy eating. Hemp as you may not have heard of before plays its role differently, benefitting for every age group - from toddlers to elders, including our furry companions too! Being a complete plant protein, which means they contain all of the amino acids, including the ones our bodies cannot produce by themselves, these tiny seeds are mighty in nutrients.

1. Is Hemp safe for Babies?

Short answer: Yes, Hemp – safe and nutritious plant based supplement for babies. Today with ample products and supplements that are available in the market for children’s nutrition and well being, it is difficult for parents to make a choice to pick the right and most importantly a suitable and wholesome product. With hemp as a part of their daily meal, it is a great source of protein, fiber, vitamin A and B6, healthy fats, omega 3 and rich in abundant minerals too. To top it all it is hypoallergenic and gluten free making it 100% safe and easily digestible for all little ones. Products like hemp hearts and hemp oil can be included into many versatile foods like yogurt, avocado, warm cereals and even regular mashed baby food.

2. Why is Hemp good for adults?

Short answer: Hemp – a good source of protein and fiber for adults. High-fiber diets have been linked to many health benefits, including improved blood sugar and healthier gut bacteria. Hemp protein powder is a good source of fiber, containing 8-10 grams per serving (or 33-37gm/100gm serving) — much more than most other plant-based protein powders. Hemp protein powder is also a good source of unsaturated heart healthy fats.

Hemp hearts (shelled hemp seeds) also contain a compound called lignanamides which have strong antioxidant properties that protects the body from oxidative damage, which has been linked to chronic illnesses.

Hemp seed oil also serves as a good source of nourishment for skin and hair and can be incorporated into home care remedies. Whether it’s a fitness regime or wellness product such as Hemp Hearts, Hemp Protein and Hemp Oil it goes a long way in balancing out the wellness of our mind, body and spirit.

3. How does Hemp benefit seniors?

Short answer: In many different ways, most significantly boosts heart, joint & brain health. Natural relief for health conditions is one of the most simplified ways to describe its effect on this age group of people.

Today we see some of the most common problems that elders face with age such as stress disorders, arthritis, neuro-degenerative disease, skin discolouring, bone health, insomnia and so much more. Specific nutrients such as Omega 3 and 6 plays a huge role in boosting cardiovascular functions, reduces inflammation, strengthens joints and also keeps mental health in check. Consuming Hemp products orally or applying them externally, we hope for this power plant to make way into mainstream ways of treatments.

4. How does Hemp help our pets?

Short answer: Helps their joints, health skin and beautiful coats, treats anxiety, improves immune system and heart health, prevents rashes to name a few! This deserves a post for itself, so that's what we're going to do.
