Cumin Seeds - 1/4 teaspoon
Curry Leaves - 10
Sliced Green Chillies - 8-10
Smashed Garlic - 6
Asafoetida - 1/4 teaspoon
Chopped Onion - 1 medium size
Chopped Tomatoes - 2
Turmeric - 1/4teaspoon
Tamarind extract + Jaggery = 1 tablespoon extracted pulp of tamarind+A knob or jaggery is optional
Ground Roasted Channa (Hurigadale) - 2 tablespoon powder
Salt to taste

A great snack, combining ingredients that are easily found in any India hoousehold kictehen with a generous amount of Hemp Trail Mix sprinkled

Temper some groundnut oil with cumin seeds, curry leaves, sliced green chillies, smashed garlic, asafoetida and finely chopped onion. Follow it up with 2 finely chopped tomatoes, turmeric and salt cooked until the tomatoes are pulpy. Balance it with a tamarind extract and jaggery syrup or you may use a tamarind date chutney as well. Dry out this mixture until it reaches the consistency of a thick relish and quickly Toss 2 cups of plain pan roasted crunchy Makhana, finely chopped raw onion, some raw tomato, coriander and a tablespoon of ground roasted channa (hurigadale. Sprinkle crunchy bits of sev and to take this up a notch by generously added 2 tablespoons of Trail Mix. Make sure to eat it quickly before it turns soggy when left out for too long.
